Actually, Simran had gone to visit Lalbaghcha with her mother on Thursday. As soon as Simran’s turn came for darshan, her mother standing behind her clicked a photo. Seeing this, a staff member suddenly snatched her mother’s phone. When Simran’s mother tried to take her phone back, she was pushed aside. Seeing this, Simran intervened, but then the bouncers behaved rudely with her. Simran further told that when she started recording the incident, the staff also tried to snatch her phone.

In the video posted online, Simran can be heard shouting, “Don’t do this! What are you doing?” Sharing the video, Simran wrote, “Today, I went to Lalbaug Cha Raja with my mother to seek blessings, but our experience was spoiled due to the unacceptable behaviour of the staff.


Simran Budhrup was mistreated by the pandal staff
A man from the organisation snatched my mother’s phone while she was clicking a picture (she was in line behind me, it was not like she was taking any extra time because it was my turn for darshan) and when she tried to take it back, he pushed her. I interfered, and the bouncers misbehaved with me too, they even tried to snatch my phone when I started recording their behaviour.

Simon expressed disappointment
The actress expressed her disappointment over the whole experience and stressed that devotees visit such places with good intentions to seek positivity and blessings, and not expect to be mistreated. She admitted that it can be difficult to manage large crowds during such festivals, but that does not excuse aggressive behaviour towards devotees.

Simran shared her story to highlight the humiliation she and her mother faced, and urges event organisations to ensure that staff members treat visitors with kindness and dignity.
